Tools and Hardware Reviews of Allied Precision #742G 1000W Bucket HeaterCustomer Review: Use it for heating vegetable oil Summary: 5 StarsI run my car on waste vegetable oil, and I use this to heat buckets of oil (hot oil is a lot easier to filter.) I've never had any problems. It heats 5 gallons of oil pretty quickly, and I'll be happy as long as it keeps working.
Customer Review: Works Great For The Price Summary: 5 StarsI use this for all grain beer making when the weather is too cold to use propane outside . Normally it would take around 2 hours for my wimpy stovetop to bring 7 gallons of wort to a boil , but with the aid of this baby I can do it in 45 minutes , which is a huge improvement . Haven't had any problems with scorching . The way it is designed it circulates liquid while it heats it . For the price it can't be beat !
Customer Review: Keep your hands warm Summary: 5 StarsThis is a great product! I am a tile installer, and I use it in the winter to keep my wet saw de-iced, and get my wash water up to a temp. that will not induce hypothermia. I would be lost without this thing, and without amazon! (My local retailer, who shall remain nameless, charges about $80 for this thing. A got it on amazon for less than half of that.) This would be a great present for anyone who works outside with water. (Tile installers, brick layers, masons, etc.)
Customer Review: Supplement boil Summary: 5 StarsI use this to supplement a 4 gallon stove top boil. It takes 30 min to reach a rolling boil, which I think is just great.
Customer Review: Works as advertised Summary: 4 StarsI ordered two of these for heating water in a bucket. Just as advertised it will boil water in a bucket. Though it will take quite a while.
